Daniel’s faith did not begin when he was thrown into the lions’ den.
Long before the decree was signed, the accusations were made, or the stone was placed over the entrance, Daniel had built a life of consistent prayer and devotion to God. When hardship arrived, he did not have to create a new spiritual response. He continued doing what he had always done.
