Abraham climbed Mount Moriah carrying a promise from God and a situation he could not understand. Yet when Isaac asked where the sacrifice was, Abraham answered with faith: “God himself will provide.”
In Abraham and Isaac, we discover that God’s provision is bigger than simply meeting a need. The language behind “the Lord will provide” carries the idea that God sees—He sees what is ahead, what we cannot see, and what will be needed when we get there.
When obedience leads us into places we do not understand, we can trust the God who already sees the ending. We may not know how He will do it, but we can trust that God will see it through.
